History
Founded at the beginning of the 1990s, tecnogen quickly earned the customer’s trust on the national market because of the high quality of its products.
Its expansion strategy, which has been carried out by a young and dynamic management team, soon determined a quick transformation of the company, that turned from producer operating into the national market to world-wide reality, which presently is known in and serves more than 50 countries.
The entire production process is still carried out in branch offices located in italy. The most modern one is located in piacenza, in the emilia romagna region, which is well-known for its tradition of successes in the engineering field and engine production
Product range
The set of tecnogen’s products is among the most complete line of products in the world and is modified following the constantly updated requirements of the global market. Power generators are made with the best diesel or fuel engines available on the market. The soundproofed galvanized canopies are internally made at tecnogen’s own factories.
For specific applications, such as those used in cinemas and entertainment industry, tecnogen also produces enclosures with noise levels of less than 59dba.
In addition, tecnogen offers compact power generators, gensets with synchronization systems for autoproducer power stations, generators equipped with remote control, engine driven welders, motorpumps and pto shaft generators.
Generating sets 1500/1800 rpm
Enermax: super-silenced diesel generating sets, 1500 rpm, water cooled, rating from 9 to 650 kva. Built to work under heavy conditions. Equipped with engines and alternators of worldwide reputation, bunded fuel tank, galvanized canopy, designed for the rental sector
Tenax: diesel generating sets, 1500 rpm, liquid cooled, rating from 5 to 2000 kva. Available both open skid and super-silenced with galvanized canopy. Equipped with engines and alternators of primary brands
Whisper box: extremely quiet, compact, environmental friendly, reliable. All power range 800:1400 kva available in a compact 20′ box. Ideal for all rental application, mining, construction sector, industry, emergency services and civil defence.
Event master series: supersilenced diesel generating sets, rating from 9 to 250 kva. Thanks to the special tecnogen event master canopy, designed to achieve maximum noise level reduction as well as perfect cooling for engine, these gensets are ideal for entertainment industry (cinema, music, etc.) as well as for residential areas.
Containermax: containermax is a series of generating sets from 500kva to 1.400kva designed for rental and suitable for continuous heavy duty application. For what concerns the special characteristics of their assembly, these generating sets can withstand operating in very adverse environmental conditions, such as, for example, salty or dusty environments or tropical climate. The 20′ high cube container of the containermax series is particularly strong thanks to the special reinforced structure (designed by our technical department). The container has been designed and built in order to allow the perfect cooling of the engines and to reduce the noise level during operation.
